Acknowledging ARC research

If you have received funding or support from the NIHR ARC East Midlands, you are required to acknowledge this in all research outputs. An output is any item arising from your research that enters the public domain, including written, audio/visual, electronic or verbally presented materials.

The NIHR branding has recently been refreshed. For full guidance, visit the NIHR visual identity page and the Acknowledging NIHR support page.

Acknowledgement wording

All research outputs must include an acknowledgement and disclaimer:

This (study/project) is (funded by/supported by) the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration East Midlands (ARC EM). The views expressed are those of the author(s) and not necessarily those of the NIHR or the Department of Health and Social Care.

Some outputs may also display the ‘Funded by NIHR’ or 'Supported by NIHR' logo, where appropriate. Full placement guidance is available on the NIHR visual identity page.
