Neurodiversity in Research Webinar

This webinar will explore how research projects can better involve neurodiverse individuals by making thoughtful and effective adjustments.

ARC East Midlands and the Centre for Ethnic Health research, as national lead for research on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion of Underrepresented Groups, is hosting a webinar on neurodiversity in research. 

Who is it for? Open to anyone with an interest in neurodiversity and inclusive research practice. This webinar will explore how research projects can better involve neurodiverse individuals by making thoughtful and effective adjustments.

The webinar will have a focus on:

  • What is a reasonable adjustment
  • How to identify adjustments
  • Real-life examples of reasonable adjustments made within a research project
  • A practical learning section- Many neurodivergent individuals face communication barriers in meetings, emails, or interviews. And on using plain language, flexible formats, and alternative ways to engage.
