Podcast cover for episode 6

We are joined by Dr Megan Kirk Chang, a senior researcher at the University of Oxford, who emphasises the importance of integrating mental and physical health. Drawing on her experiences in Canada, the US and the UK, Dr Kirk Chang explores a variety of topics, including how social media and technology can impact health and well-being.

She also discusses the potential benefits of mindfulness, yoga, diet and physical activity, highlighting their relevance in addressing MLTCs.

Dr Kirk Chang, who is also a certified mindfulness instructor with a large global following on the Insight Timer app, said: “To truly improve the lives of individuals with multiple long-term conditions, we need to adopt a holistic approach that addresses both mental and physical health. This integration is key to supporting longer and healthier lives”.
