ARC PhD studentship to study at the University of Lincoln: Improving prehospital care using ambulance data (Reference Number: HSC2019-4)
NIHR ARC East Midlands is pleased to announce funding for a doctoral studentship to commence May 2021. The PhD will be aligned to our Building Community Resilience and Enabling Independence (BCREI) theme.

Overview
Applications are invited for a fully funded studentship for an outstanding, highly-motivated student to join a thriving research environment based at the Community and Health Research Unit (CaHRU) at the University of Lincoln, in one of the world’s great small cities. Candidates are sought with interests in prehospital ambulance care and statistical and/or qualitative analysis.
The successful candidate will join CaHRU, an active and growing research centre at the University of Lincoln working on prehospital quality and outcomes research.
Experience in scientific research in relation to health will be desirable but not essential. Strong scientific qualities will be essential.

How to Apply
Applicants should have a first or upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant area. Applicants with a relevant Masters are particularly welcome. Applicants should possess excellent report writing and English language communication skills, and an ability to work to deadlines.
