Where is this event taking place?

At Stamford Court, 18 Manor Road, Oadby, Leicester LE2 3UF.

A networking dinner will be arranged for evening of Wednesday 17 January at a venue in Leicester – tbc. All delegates are welcome to attend.

Why is this event taking place?

Multimorbidity is now the clinical norm within primary care. It is a complex phenomenon requiring multi-faceted strategies and interventions to improve outcomes. This event will showcase the multimorbidity work across all CLAHRCs and to stimulate further discussion and initiate cross-CLAHRC collaborations to take multimorbidity research forward and devise novel solutions to tackle multimorbidity in the UK.

The aim of this event is to provide an opportunity for researchers, clinicians’ and other colleagues from the 13 CLAHRCs to discuss current research being conducted and future challenges and opportunities in the field of multi morbidity research.

Who is this event for?

Attendance is encouraged from colleagues of the following groups/bodies that are involved with multi morbidity research:

  • Researchers
  • Clinicians
  • Health care professionals and commissioners involved in management of people with multimorbidity

Each CLAHRC that takes part will initially have a limit of eight places, on a first come, first served basis.

How do I contribute to this event?

We are asking all CLAHRCs to provide an overview of relevant multimorbidity studies (past, ongoing, and planned) by Monday 08 January 2018 on the template attached. All of the overviews submitted will be collated into a booklet, which will be available in hard copy on the day.

From the overviews submitted, we will choose twelve for presentation, as well as a number of overviews for oral poster presentation on the day. Individuals named on the study overviews will be contacted in the New Year.
