ARC National Programme in MLTC Dissemination Event

Chaired by Professor Kamlesh Khunti, Director for NIHR ARC (Applied Research Collaboration) East Midlands and Lead for The Multiple Long Term Conditions National Priority Area

The NIHR ARC for East Midlands is the national priority area lead for MLTC, and together with contributions from across the NIHR is holding a seminar open to individuals with an interest in MLTC. The event will feature:

  • Presentations from the NIHR ARC Multiple Long-Term Condition Implementation programme projects including: 
  • Evaluating implementation of a Framework for identification and tailored cardiovascular disease prevention intervention (UCLP-Primrose) for people with severe mental illness - ARC North Thames
  •  Personalised Primary Care for patients with MLTC - ARC West
  • Optimising structured medication reviews: A real-time observational cohort study with integrated qualitative evaluation – NIHR ARC Oxford & Thames Valley
  • Audit Based Education - bitesize, focussed, dashboard-based feedback, to implement NICE Do-Not-Do Recommendations in people with cardiometabolic comorbidities - ARC Oxford & Thames Valley
  • Interactive workshops focused on PPIE, Collaborations, Knowledge Mobilisation and the 10 year NHS plan.
