Consistently collecting and using resident information across care homes is a vital policy priority for improving care quality and service delivery. Understanding how care home staff use this data ensures it remains meaningful and relevant for personalised care planning and review.
The DACHA-DASH project, involving care home residents, relatives, staff and other stakeholders from three care homes, provides practical examples of how resident data can be utilised effectively within care homes.
