About the role
This post, funded by the EM ARC, is for a Research Assistant or Associate to join an established, successful research team to contribute to a programme of work which aims to address health inequalities and improve health outcomes in people with multiple long-term conditions (MLTCs), as part of the Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) East Midlands, based at the Leicester Diabetes Centre (LDC).
The LDC is internationally recognised for its research in diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and also hosts the NIHR Global Research Centre for MLTC, Centre for Ethnic Health Research (CEHR) and NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). The post provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious researcher to contribute to the ongoing development of our Research Centre.
About you
You will hold an academic qualification in a subject relevant to health services research or other related discipline and possess substantial practical research experience. Alongside your education and research expertise, you will have high level of attention to detail, project management skills and excellent communication skills.
