Teams from across the ARC East Midlands are taking part in this week’s #Red4Research campaign, a global effort to support and recognise the importance of research.

The campaign, taking place on Friday, September 20, aims to get as many people as possible wearing red to show appreciation for all those participating, undertaking and supporting research.

The concept is simple. Wear something red, then print or make a placard, take a photo and post it on social media with the #Red4Research hashtag.

Professor Kamlesh Khunti, Director of the ARC East Midlands, said: “Research has the power to transform lives, and today we wear red to honour the incredible work of everyone who makes it possible. Whether through participation or support, every contribution brings us closer to breakthroughs that improve health and wellbeing”.

In the photos below, ARC East Midlands team members proudly wear red, showing their support for the entire research community.
