Her research, funded by NIHR ARC East Midlands, focused on improving self-management support for patients living with multiple long-term conditions.
Living with multiple conditions presents many challenges, and this research explores practical ways to help patients better manage their health and day-to-day life.
Reflecting on her achievements, Dr Hopwood said: “I am very happy to have reached this milestone and successfully pass my PhD viva. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the years.
"I especially want to thank the people living with multiple long-term conditions, healthcare professionals and researchers who participated in my PhD studies. Their experiences helped shape my work and I hope I can continue to turn these insights into meaningful change for self-management support for multiple long-term conditions.”
