Our next EMRAN meeting is about developing research capacity within social care and public health, i.e. working with local authorities.

This is a priority topic for NIHR, and COVID has certainly shown the need for improvements in data and integration of services; whether in care homes, people’s own homes or community. We are planning discussion sessions within the meeting, so that you can share ideas and instigate collaborations. We would be pleased to support people who feel new to research to join and find out about first steps in research and implementing evidence-based practice.
